Yesterday, I installed a trial version of UltraMon 3.0.10 under Windows XP 2002 SP3 with my laptop screen as my primary monitor and two external monitors. When I type a "2" or a "3" into any window (e.g. Notepad++, Firefox, IE, Word), that window jumps to that particular monitor. So for example, as I was typing this message into Firefox, it jumped from the primary monitor to Monitor Two when I typed "2" and to Monitor Three when I typed "3". It jumped back to 2 when I closed the quotes. I have no hotkeys enabled, I haven't changed any default settings, and I can't find any reports of similar behaviour. Any idea what's causing this?

Followup - I may be blaming UltraMon unfairly. I uninstalled it and the problem persisted. I rebooted and it went away. I'd still be grateful for any pointers on this.

Not sure what this might have been, but UltraMon doesn't have any default hotkeys, you would need to manually create them via UltraMon Options > Hotkeys.

I have 3 monitors and this happens to me at times. I am not sure what to blame. Whenever I type a 1,2,or 3, the window will move to that monitor. It doesn't seem to matter what application I am using. I have to reboot to resolve the issue, but it seems to happen again but I can't pinpoint why. Any help would be appreciated.

Check if you have a video card utility or similar application installed which might have a preconfigured Move Window hotkey.
