Trying to use this LCD tv as my primary and regular LCD monitor as 2ndary. Issue is the task bar and icons don't "fit" - they are partially obscured. Ditto for any window I try to maximize on the Samsung - the max window is "bigger" then the screen desktop space. I have the Samsung set to its native resolution of 1280 x 720. Thoughts?

You need to see if the Samsung has a setting that doesn't use overscan. On my LCD TV, one of the 4 "Zoom" settings eliminates overscan. You might have to try all the settings on yours, or see if the manual indicates which settings turn off overscan.
