Forums -> Multiple monitors -> Taskbar & Tasks Spread Across Two Side-by-Side Monitors

It would be really nice if my task bar which is now stuck at the bottom of the single primary monitor could simply be stretched across two side-by-side monitors so that the start icon button stays at its normal lower left corner position, and the system tray occupies the lower right corner of the monitor immediately to the left. Unbroken screen space is important to me, so I'll probably never want multiple task bars containing only the icons for what resides on the monitor (but, maybe I just haven't found a reason yet). My system has four identical monitors attached forming a rectangle. The primary is lower left, with the taskbar on the bottom. The space that is ALWAYS UNUSED is the space that a taskbar would occupy on the lower right monitor.

Thanks!

If you have an Nvidia video card: their nView Desktop Manager software used to support this, not sure though if this feature is still available.
