I want to set certain apps to open on my second monitor. How do I do this? Thank you!

To set this up, right-click the application's shortcut, select Properties from the menu, then select the UltraMon - Window tab and configure settings as desired.
If the shortcut doesn't have the UltraMon tabs, you'll need to create a new shortcut for the application via UltraMon menu > Shortcuts (right-click the UltraMon icon in the system tray to bring up the menu).

If the shortcut doesn't have the UltraMon tabs, you'll need to create a new shortcut for the application via UltraMon menu > Shortcuts (right-click the UltraMon icon in the system tray to bring up the menu).

I followed your instructions, Christian, but it still doesn't work right. If the shortcut properties already have the UltraMon - Window tab, then I can choose which monitor it opens to, and it works fine every time, regardless of whether I move the application to a different monitor during the session.
However, I had a shortcut that didn't have the UltraMon - Window tab, so I created a new shortcut, and chose which monitor to open it to. However, after the application is open, if I move it to the other monitor and exit the program, the next time I use the shortcut, it opens to the monitor last used, so the shortcut settings don't work anymore.
How can this be fixed?

PS I'm using Windows XP Pro, MS Office 2003, and UltraMon 3.1.0

Ari, does this happen with an Office 2003 application, or another application?
UltraMon may not be able to position all applications, and some applications restrict how their windows can be moved/resized.
