Secondary screen is showing the video player maxed out on projector screen, but no video is playing, and it is playing fine on work screen (primary screen). I used to do this in WinXP Pro, with an older driver/control panel from nvidia which automatically did full screen video from their control panel configuration. Now they don't seem to have it, and so I was trying your software.
I just installed your latest version "UltraMon_3.1.0_en_x64" on my new install of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, all updates done. Tried running "Media Player Classic - Home Cinema x64" as a mirror to the projector from my primary monitor to the secondary projector. Have the latest nvidia driver installed 8.17.12.5981 from the driver install package version "259.81-Quadro-win7-winvista-64bit-english-whql" which also has an updated control panel- no full screen video option.
System Summary: -Asus P5N32-E SLI Plus, QuadCore Q6600, CORSAIR XMS2 2GB *4 -NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500, ASUS U3S6 PCI Express USB 3.0 & SATA 6 Adapter -OCZ Vertex 2 SSD 120 & 240GB, Maxtor 500 GB *4 -Thermaltake Toughpower 750W, Antec P182 Atx Black Case - Windows 7 Pro 64
I have my monitors set-up in extended configuration. I have tried several configurations with no luck. I tried changing the video frames up to 30, strech to fill screen, etc. Am I missing something here? All I want is to have small video playing on my primary work screen and have the video output to the projector full screen which is what your program advertises it will do.

I'm seeing that as well, if you only mirror the application all you get is a static image in place of the video. If you mirror the whole monitor it works fine.
I'll look into this, but there's probably no fix.

Thanks Christian for looking into it, I used to use your software (XP) with 2 of these graphic cards on 3 different monitors + Big TV which really worked nice with full screen video. Now I am down to one big monitor and projector.
I think short of buying a new graphics card... (I really hate to have to replace the Quadra fx4500) I am going to see if an older vista 64 bit driver and control panel from nvidia will work. Now just have to find it, as I don't think I have one old enough on file.

One other thing you could do: if the video player is always on top of other windows, and is always at the same position on the desktop, you could use the desktop option of UltraMon Mirroring, and configure it to mirror the area occupied by the video window.

Thanks for suggesting this option...
I tried mirroring a portion of my workstations' screen where the video is with several different setting configurations, this seemed to be the best: -Grabbed the section with the cross hair, -checked off:Don't mirror the mouse pointer, -Zoom Factor left alone, -checked off: stretch mirror to fit fill monitor, -Screen update rate: to fast, -Everything else left de-selected
When I send the video directly to the projector (playing it on the projector screen output)it plays smooth no problems similar to what I had prior to the Win7 update. Now with the above settings, it does work but I can see chop in the video when objects are being panned with-in the camera shot, also the voice ends up out of sync with when they talk - just a bit 1 or 2 seconds.
Now I do have a long DVI to HDMI cable directly from the computer to the projector just under 100' but as I said before it worked perfectly with XP and the previous nvidia driver, and when I play it directly to the projector, it is again perfect - video and sound.
So yes it does work, but not the best when on a 110" screen chopping and sound sync issues.
I think I am still going to try installing an older vista 64 bit driver to get compatibility with Aero effects and hopefully full screen video (with smaller adjustable video window size on the workstation).
I put a couple of threads up on Nvidia's forum with no responses, you would think someone would know or say something :-(

Well, and update: Talked to the Service Technician Manager, and he recommend the the EVGA GTX 470, and said it would give me my max video on the second screen with original video on the first screen. Tried it out tonight, uninstalled my Quadra fx4500 drivers and control panel, restarted with new card in place with the latest online drivers from NVidia.
Ended up with similar control panel and again that extra linked window I used to get in XP was not there in the control panel and again it was not there, and I can not get it to max the screen on the projector while viewing in a smaller window on my screen 1. :-(
I asked if I could return the card if it didn't do it, and he said yes, but was convinced that it should be able to do it no problem... well it doesn't.
So now I think I am going to try one of the HD Radeon cards similar or a little better such as the 5850, 6870 or better, as they have a different software/driver controls and features. What a pain in the... :-(

Great news Christian, I ended up getting a new Gforce gtx 470 video card thinking that this would solve solve the problem. It turns out that Vista and Win7 with the Aero overlay does not allow it. When I tried the new card it did not have the full screen option, so I returned it, and bought a ATI XFX HD Radeon 6950 video card. Tried it and again no success. I thought the efinity Catalyst software would help, but no luck. Contacted support for the card and they sent me to this link: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/pl-PL/w7itpromedia/thread/85f37708-d1f6-4329-a40e-e751d70c5e13 So I read through it and tried all of the suggestions with no success, might be because I am running 64bit. Anyway, I am happy to say that I reinstalled your UltraMon software and tried the mirror application tool you have, and it is WORKING! :-) Video is great, sound is in sync and I am using Media Player Classic Home Minimal 64 bit in minimal mode, so that I don't have the ugly boarder and controls showing. I haven't tried it with any other players, but for now I am happy it works with this one.

Hi,
The application mirroring function is a function that I was looking for since nVidia removed the "fullscreen video mirroring" feature.
I was wondering if the application mirroring function existing in the UltraMon can be updated to include an automatic function that whenever the UltraMon detects a video stream playing on the Primary display (internet browser, e.g. YouTube, or whatever other application, e.g. VLC or WMP, that is playing a video stream) then the UltaMon shows a fullscreen mirror of the video stream in the secondary display...

I don't see a way to do this, the video card driver knew when a video overlay got created and so could start mirroring, but this information isn't available to UltraMon, and on Vista and later video overlays usually don't get used anyway.
