Hi, trying Ultramon 3.1.0 demo since a few days, with Windows Seven x64 and when I switch from dual monitors display to single one, my explorer.exe freeze, I'm forced to relaunch it.
This problem seems to appear very often, but not everytime I switch from dual to single display.
Any help ?
Thanks

So far I haven't seen this myself, a couple of things you could test:
- does disabling the Smart Taskbar fix the problem? You can do this via UltraMon Options > Smart Taskbar
- does the issue also occur if UltraMon isn't running? To test this, first close UltraMon, then disable/enable the secondary monitor via Windows Display Properties

You're right, I tried to switch to dual display using Windows System after closing Ultramon and the bug happened too...
Any idea for that bug ?
Graphic card drivers ?

Difficult to say what might cause this, checking if you have video card utilities like Nvidia nView Desktop Manager or ATI HydraVision enabled might be worth a try, I would also recommend looking for any taskbar/shell enhancement tools you might have installed.

I am having the same problem and haven't found a fix. Win 7 Pro x64, Nvidia 9600GT with latest drivers

It's probably a directx problem as directx games seem to have problems with multi monitor setups.
The secondary monitor can be switched on and off without explorer crashing until directx switches the resolution, on, I'm assuming, the primary monitor. Explorer will then crash every time the secondary monitor is switched, until Windows is rebooted.
A work around is to switch the secondary monitor off, play the game, then switch the secondary monitor back on, although Explorer restarts quickly enough that it's not worth bothering with.
