I have a paid subscription for UltraMon and have 2 monitors. I want to achieve the following.
1. My primary monitor and secondary monitor will display 4 panes..3 IE panes and 1 pane will have GMAIL. How do I automatically configure this so I can open the 4 panes without manually doing this every time I sign into the PC
2. When I split the GMAIL and IE, there is a gap between the gmail and IE pane ? How do I get no gap. For my other monitor that has 2 IE panes there is no gap and this is great.
Lastly I did have some issues using UlteaMon with Google Chrome. Am I correct in that I am better off using UltraMon with IE ? I like your product..keep up the good work.

There's no easy way to do this on Windows 7, the problem is that UltraMon's shortcuts feature can only position the first IE instance.
But if each window has a unique caption (title bar text), it should be possible to do this with a custom script, if you're interested in this please contact me by e-mail at support@realtimesoft.com and let me know if the browser windows should be arranged on top of each other (horizontally) or side by side (vertically).
Regarding Chrome: UltraMon can't add the window buttons due to the custom title bar, but otherwise this should work fine. If you have taskbar-related issues with Chrome, make sure you have the latest version installed, there were issues with maximized Chrome windows but those seem to have been resolved.

I will hold off on the 3 pane request, but I would like to be able to use this in Chrome and am unable to figure it out..It seems the only thing that happens in Chrome is that it stretches over to the next monitor..
How do I take one screen in Chrome and make it a 1/2 pane move it to the other monitor
thanks in advance

Can't you just resize the Chrome window manually, then move it to the other monitor? To do this first make sure the window isn't maximized.

The window buttons and menu commands won't work with Chrome, otherwise everything should work fine, for example the hotkeys (you can configure hotkeys via UltraMon Options > Hotkeys) or the Smart Taskbar.

Part of the problem was I had some type of Chrome beta version..now that I went to a stable version of Chrome I can re-size. In terms of how to use UltraMon with Chrome it sounds like I am forced to use hotkeys. No problem there..not sure how to do it..but I will poke around the forum and faq for more material..thanks for all your quick responses in this post..much appreciated
also I am getting a message I am not registered..but I have the paypal receipt..how do I register..what would be the subject of the email that had the registration info..

To configure hotkeys, right-click the UltraMon icon in the system tray, then select Options from the menu and select the Hotkeys tab.
Regarding your order: look for a mail from support@realtimesoft.com, subject should be 'UltraMon order'. If you don't find it, send a mail to sales@realtimesoft.com and include the PayPal transaction ID for your order.
