I'm using UltraMon on a system that does not launch explorer. EVER.
I'm just using UltraMon to allow applications to launch on the correct monitor.
Unfortunately without explorer.exe running I keep getting "Failed to set system tray icon for Ultramon"
Is there any way around this? Very annoying.

Currently there's no way to prevent this, UltraMon expects the system tray to be present, and will show the error message you get if it failed to add the icon after 5 minutes.
If you only use the shortcuts feature (UltraMon - Window tab under shortcut properties), you could disable automatic startup of UltraMon by setting the AutoStart value in the registry under key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\<version> to zero.

That worked. I didn't realize Ultramon didn't need to be running for the small functionality I am using.
Thanks.
