Each time I reboot my computer or try to enable the Smart Taskbar function of ultramon I get a error message
"Ultramon Taskbar encounted a faitle error and will exit"
Version: 3.1.0 OS: 6.1.7600 x64 Source file: .\Taskband.cpp Line: 485 Return value: 0 Last error: 0
I'm currently unable to use ultramon at this point. Can anyone help me on this.

Are you using Taskbar Shuffle or Taskix to reorder task buttons on the UltraMon taskbar?

Hi Christian,
No, I'm not!

Have you noticed anything which seems to cause the problem, for example launching a specific application, etc?

Unfortunately no, the error message appears as soon as my PC starts up...

Do you still get the error if you start UltraMonTaskbar.exe again manually (the file is located in C:\Program Files\UltraMon)?

I am also having this same issue on an Dell 4300

Steve, for Samuel the issue was a configuration problem, to fix this run regedit.exe and delete the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\<version>\Smart Taskbar, then restart UltraMon.
If that doesn't fix the problem for you, please post the complete text of the error message you get.
