I get the following message when I try and enable Ultramon smart task bar on my 2nd monitor:
UtraMon Taskbar encountered a fatal error and will exit.
More information:
Version: 3.1.0 OS: 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 x64 Source file: .\DeskTaskBarManager.cpp Line: 212 Return Value: -2147287037 Last error: 2
Can you tell me how to fix this issue?

You'll get this if the UltraMon taskbar fails to open a configuration file.
Please check if the following folder exists on your system:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\3.1.0
The folder may be hidden, in that case click on Organize in Windows Explorer, then select Folder and Search Options, select the View tab and check Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives.

Hi Christian,
I'm running UltraMon in a windows server 2008 r2 network environment with roaming profiles soteh AppData folder is stored on a network drive. Is there any way of altering the path to which UltraMon looks when starting up?
Many thanks for you help.

That shouldn't be a problem, UltraMon gets the location of the AppData folder from the system, it doesn't use a hardcoded path.
To get the current path for the folder, open a command prompt, then run the following command:
set appdata
