Hi, I've two displays: one 1920x1080 and one 1050x1680 and I'm having problems setting up the mirroring function. I'm using MirrorMon to use my 2nd display to mirror an area of primary display desktop. This works fine in the windows environment, but when I start a full screen application in the primary display, the mirroring stops. Is there a way to continuing mirroring an area of the primary display while running a full screen application. Many thanks.

Is this a 3D application/game or a video player? It may not be possible to mirror those types of applications, depending on which version of Windows you're using.

It's with3d application/ games running on win7 64 - some work with no problems and others don't work at all: I wonder why there is a difference?
Thankyou for the excellent support service!

In general this should work fine on Windows 7, one exception I'm aware of is the Media Center, this only works if it's not running in fullscreen mode, unfortunately I don't know why exactly this happens.
UltraMon's regular mirroring feature (UltraMon menu > Mirroring) supports disabling 3D acceleration, this might help but can cause problems for some applications, or may degrade performance/image quality. The option is on the last page of the mirror settings wizard.

I have tried disabling the 3d acceleration for a specific game, and a strange thing happens: the game mouse pointer is visible, but the graphics are not...very strange...any further suggestions?
Many thanks

Unfortunately I don't see a fix for this, except a hardware solution, but then both displays would need to run at the same resolution.
