neither does ultramontaskbar.exe, but *desktop.exe works. reboot, uninstall, reinstall, re-downloaded, nada. start menu item doesn't point to anywhere either.
trying out ultramon for the first time, trial version, win 7 64, radeon 4290

UltraMon gets started automatically at system startup, you should have an icon for it in the system tray (the area of the main taskbar with the clock), right-click this icon to access features like the wallpaper manager etc.
