Request:I would like to request you add support to allow a window to be "docked" to a side of a secondary monitor.

Problem I'm Trying To Solve: In our office we use two monitors. I'd like to dock Office communicator 2007 to the far right of my secondary monitor (Similar to what ICQ/Trillian allow you to do). The problem is that application does not support this. You're already supporting what is "maximized" for a window (when you put the smart taskbar at the bottom of the window). I'd like to be able to go into a options tab of your app, select the program. Give it some coords to preserve for another app. And poof. I now have "Docking" support that other windows would work around.

Expected Result: On my secondary monitor I'd have a thin docked Office Communicator snapped up against the right side of the monitor. No other application would display over this thin strip. It would work like Trillian or ICQ.

Thanks in advance.

We have a tool available that allows you to set the work space of a monitor, that should do what you want. Please post the system information from UltraMon menu > About, I could then send you the coordinates you would need to use.

To reserve 100 pixels on the right side of monitor 1, you would need to run SetWorkSpace.exe with the following arguments:

SetWorkSpace.exe 1600,0,3100,1147

Normally the workspace on monitor 1 extends from coordinates 1600,0 to 3200,1147, by only extending it to 3100,1147 you're reserving a strip of 100 pixels along the right side of the monitor.
