Hello ! i want to change the monitor number that winxp gives the monitor i want to swap monitor number 2-3. how can it be done ? the application that runs can only be configured to use first or second monitor ... but i need use the third monitor !

Try switching the monitor cables, the numbers get assigned based on the video card port the monitor is connected to. I'm not aware of another way to change monitor numbering.

Right click ultramon, display settings
click the monitor you want to change, actions - change monitor number too...
