I use Ctrl+F12 to "move window to next monitor" and this still works when the window is on the 2nd monitor, but when it's on the main monitor, it does nothing -- except when the window is maximized, the window will quickly 'restore' to normal size, and then re-maximize, but on the same monitor.

Very strange behaviour.

Using Version 3.0.10

2 monitors
Current desktop: 3840x1080 (-1920,0 - 1920,1080)

If you're on 64-bit Windows, upgrading to 3.1.0 should fix the problem, there was an issue where moving windows would no longer work properly on 64-bit systems, usually after using Remote Desktop.

Thank you for the tip. I tried this, and it now works. I believe I did try to use Remote Desktop a few weeks ago (I never could get that to work).

But, after installation, the reboot caused a blue screen, and I went through the standard booting safely to check for errors, I avoided the system restore since that totally ruined my documents the last time (it moves and restores and renames files UGH), and let it do its manual 'attempt repairs' for 30 minutes, whatever that did. And it rebooted fine the next time.

I never get blue screens, so it's possible the installation of this caused it. I am running 64-bit Vista. If it happens again, I'll let you know. The blue screen error code was PC_something, I can't remember it only showed for a moment before it vanished and rebooted.

Thanks again!

That was most likely due to something else, you'll only get this if a driver crashes. To be able to see the error message, go to Control Panel > System > Advanced > Startup and Recovery and uncheck 'Automatically restart'.
