Hello,
I have used this setup for awhile but we just built a new computer and kept the same 2 monitors but now are having problems.
I have a computer at the work desk and a monitor there, then a second monitor on our counter.
I use a display profile to set 1600x900 resolution on Monitor 1 and 1280x720 on monitor 2.
Only one monitor is active at a time...we use a script to switch back and forth between monitors (Disable Primary, Enable Secondary and make it primarY or something like that)
The problem I am having is when I switch off this monitor and then back..it is keeping the resolution of the other monitor instead of the 1600x900 listed in the profile?
What am I missing? Thanks in advance

Sorry for double post, just want to add, it looks like neither resolution is being kept right..
It looks as if it is not using the profile I created..how do I active a profile and make it stay active?
If I choose the profile in the list..the resolutions fix..but as soon as I change monitors it messes up.

You could get this on Windows 7, I would recommend using two display profiles instead, with each profile only having a single enabled monitor. This way the correct settings will get used when you apply one of the display profiles.

I had JUST figured this out once you posted.
Before we used XP and it worked, but I had two display adapters..I had forgotten I used the integrated VGA and then another card.
This time I used 2 profiles but the only difference is I have to use two hotkeys now instead of one.
Works fine though :) Thanks

It would be possible to use a custom script to toggle between the two profiles, this way you would only need a single hotkey. Let me know if you're interested in this.
