I'm using ATI All-in-wonder 128 pro pci + nvidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400 agp on Windows 2000, 1.7 ghz pentium 4, 512 ram....
Under Windows Me audio, video, dvd functioned perfectly, but system crashed too frequently. So I switched to Windows 2000, and the system is much more stable, but I get a lot of audio distortion (with mp3s) when there is window activity on my primary monitor.
I've tried changing pci card slots for the ATI card. Bios is set for pci as the primary.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the help...
Mark

Maybe it is related to the sound card (or drivers), I had a similar problem when playing video on secondary monitors, with my onboard sound card the audio was distorted. The problem went away when I switched to a PCI sound card.
