Is there any way to configure the system so that all apps will open on primary monitor?

May be there is some custom script for UltraMon

I need this because i very seldom use my secondary monitor and most of the time it's disabled. For now I need every time the app opens on secondary monitor user shortcut to move it to primary monitor. That is not convenient way to work the computer.

Make sure you also have the monitor disabled via Display Properties or UltraMon menu > Display Settings, most applications will then open on the primary monitor automatically.

If you still have the issue with some applications, let me know, it should be possible to fix this via UltraMon.

I do not want to disable the monitor. I want it to be enabled but all apps Must open on 1st monitor. Is that possible?

There's no ideal solution, but it would be possible to create a custom script which runs every couple of seconds and moves any windows which are on the secondary monitor to the primary monitor.

The drawback is that the script would need to run constantly in the background, and you'll have some lag between a window getting opened and the window getting moved to the primary monitor. Let me know if you would be interested in such a script.

I need that script will move only new windows to 1st monitor, not any window. Because sometimes i move windows to second monitor manually. But I do not want that new windows open on 2nd monitor.

As I already sad I often turn off 2nd monitor by pressing power button on it. In this case it doesn't steal my attention. But in some cases I turn on power button on my 1st monitor and want to use it with some tables, etc.

It is much easier to turn off monitor by pressing power button then by disabling it by Windows or Ultramon. Besides this if I disable 2nd monitor by WIndows or Ultramon it became dark and blue light on it become flashing and this steal my attention. So I need to do 2 actions: disable monitor in Windows or Ultramon and press power button on it so it stop blinking.

I think I fully explained why I want that all Windows to open on 1st monitor.

So I need the script or something other that will force all applications to be opened on 1st monitor.

But I am almost sure that this is near impossible, because there is no such feature in Windows and we cannot change windows internal components like kernel. But in this case please explain me why this is not possible and how operation treat with windows.

This sentence should be read like this

But in some cases I turn on power button on my 2nd monitor and want to use it with some tables, etc.

Thank you for your efforts and help.

I have uploaded a script which does this, PositionAllApps. Let me know if you have any questions about using the script.

Thank you very much. Now I will plan 40$ from my budget for the next month to buy UltraMon.
