I have a three monitor setup with two Nvidia video cards. Two monitors are Samsung Sync Master 245B and the third is a Calypso LED TV. They are setup in Windows as primary being 1 Samsung, 2 the Calypso and 3 the second Samsung, but in Ultramon I have re-arranged them to Samsung, Samsung and Calypso. When ever I step away from my desk and my computer goes to sleep all the application that are open on my 2nd monitor (Samsung) move to my primary monitor or to my third monitor (Calypso) if it is on.

Which version of UltraMon and Windows are you using?

Can you reproduce this consistently? I did some testing myself both with and without UltraMon running, but only saw this once (with UltraMon running), applications from the second of 3 monitors were moved to the primary monitor after resuming the system from standby.

I can confirm the window behavior post-sleep happens on my Windows 7 64-bit machine (UM 3.1.0) but only with applications on monitor 3 of 5 (arranged 5-4-1-2-3).

Are you sure this is related to UltraMon? To verify this, check if you still have the issue if UltraMon isn't running, you can close it via UltraMon menu > Close.

Hi Christian,

You're correct, the problem exists with or without running UM. The windows always move when the monitor is powered off/sleeping. None of the other monitors exhibit this behavior.

Glad to hear the issue isn't related to UltraMon, unfortunately I don't know what might cause this.
