Hello there,
I just installed the Ultramon trial and am highly impressed with it. However, desktop icons are not interested in working nicely with me.
Icons work fine in display one (the primary, a 1920x1080 panel). but, if I try dragging the same icon to desktop 2, it vanishes.
However, the icon is still clickable if you know where you put it, just doesn't show itself.
Here's what the about page says:
2 monitors
Current desktop: 3286x1080 (0,0 - 3286,1080)
Monitor 1 - BenQ G900HD (Digital):
Settings: 1366x768, 32-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate
Coordinates: 1920,0 - 3286,768. Workspace: 1920,0 - 3286,740
Video card: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series
Device: \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0
Monitor 2 - SA300/SA350 (primary):
Settings: 1920x1080, 32-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate
Coordinates: 0,0 - 1920,1080. Workspace: 0,0 - 1920,1049
Video card: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series
Device: \\.\DISPLAY2\Monitor0

I'm not sure what might cause this, but it's very unlikely that this would be related to UltraMon. To verify this, check if you still have the problem without UltraMon installed or running.
I would check if you have any shell/desktop enhancement applications installed which might interfere with this. Windows itself supports placing the icons anywhere on the extended desktop.

I just reinstalled Ultramon and it now works fine, so yeah, not sure what caused it.
thanks anyway :)
