Whenever I copy a file onto the desktop it jumps into alignment with the other files on the desktop. For example if I drag and drop a file from another location onto the desktop on my secondary screen it jumps over to the first and aligns itslef with the other icons. I had though this was a windows issue (Note Align to Grid and Auto arrange are turned off)but a few days ago my hard drive died and I had to re-in stall the OS (Windows 7). I found that the icons would stay were i had copied them on a fresh install.(if I dragged a icon from a folder or another drive onto the desktop it would stay were I had droped it) After i re-installed ultramon they now jump into order.
I havnt been able to find anything in settings to stop the files aligning, some help would be greatly appreciated.
Absolutely LOVE the program iv'e been using it for a few years now and have LOVED IT. Keep up the good work Guys :)

Seems unlikely that this would be related to UltraMon, UltraMon only positions icons during startup, or if you select Desktop Icons > Restore Position from the UltraMon menu.
I also haven't been able to reproduce the issue with UltraMon 3.1.0 on Windows 7, if I drag a file to the secondary monitor it stays on that monitor.
To confirm if the issue is related to UltraMon, try if you still have the problem if UltraMon isn't running or installed.
Glad to hear you like UltraMon!
