I need to open 3 different PDF files and I would like to setup a shortcut to open each one on a particular monitor. When I set up the shortcut in Ultramon for one of the PDFs to open on monitor 2 it opens it on monitor 1. Do I have to download a script to do this?

Also doesn't work for me with Reader X. Do you always open the same files, and each one has a different name/window caption? If yes, it should be possible to do this with a custom script.

Yes, each file has a different name/window caption. Will it work with an older version of Adobe reader?

Same to me - I want to use more instances of Irfan View - each monitor should display different picture, but it not work exactly as I set up in shortcut creation.

Is the custom script available on your site?
Thanks for your help.

I would also like to find out if it is possible to run multiple PDF files in full screen mode, each on a different monitor at the same time. For example: PDF File 1 in Full Screen mode on Monitor 1 PDF File 2 in Full Screen mode on Monitor 2 etc... Will UltraMon give me this capabality?

I have now done some further testing, also with Reader version 9. Positioning via UltraMon shortcut options didn't work with either version; the custom script did work, but required disabling protected mode in Reader X.
If you could disable protected mode or use version 9, let me know and I'll upload a script.
Regarding IrfanView: would you want to display a different image fullscreen on each monitor?

I could use Adobe Reader v. 9. Can you also test the multiple full screen functionality?

Dear Christian,
yes, each monitor should have different picture in fullscreen mode. But it will be nice to have it also all monitors same picture.

I was able to figure out how to run multiple full screen Adobe PDFs at the same time.
The only thing I need now is the script to place each PDF on it's own monitor.

I have uploaded scripts for both Adobe Reader and IrfanView: MultiInstanceAdobeReader and MultiInstanceIrfanView.

Dear Christian,
can I ask you for one more script, which will terminate all instances of Irfan View, so I will see only wallpapers? I tried to modify current from previous scropt for IV, but I am not success. Many thanks in advance.

I have uploaded a script which does this, CloseApp. You can also use this with other applications, just edit the first line of the script.
