I have used Ultramon with 2 screen for a long time but now I've added a 3th monitor to my work set-up.
The idea is to use this 3th monitor mainly to just have outlook always visible and keep the original 2 as 'workspace'.
I use the 'maximize to desktop' button a LOT because I work with maps and different scales and such, but now with the 3th monitor that button spreads windows across all 3 monitors which is kind of a pity..
I suppose that what I'm looking for is a way to define which monitors this button affects or some way make the 3th monitor not play a part in utramon business or something like that?
any suggestions are welcome,
thank you,
Tim

That's not supported directly, but there are two possible solutions:
- use a hotkey and the Maximize2Mon script to maximize the window to two monitors only
- change the monitor arrangement via UltraMon menu > Display Settings so that the 3rd monitor is below or above the other two monitors. This way UltraMon will only maximize the window across the other two monitors. The drawback is that you will then need to move the mouse down or up to get to the 3rd monitor

Dear Christian,
I've opted for the first option with the hotkey+VBscript and it works like a charm!
(took the alternative script that remembers previous window size)
Thank you for your solution,
Tim
