Hello,
I'm having on multiple PCs of my company issues with the Ultramon additionnal smart task bar
Environnment : Citrix (2008 server R2 x64) & PC (win7 x64 ent) Network profile : RES Software is installed (profile sync with network)
Users don't have any special privileges (non-admin)
Issue : Ultramontaskbar.exe is running,it has created a 512b file in the user's temp folder BUT taks bar not appearing on second monitor
Methods tried , none worked on PC :
- disabling/enabling smart bar via systray icon - Delaying stratup by 30 sec - Deleting smart task bar keys in registry - Deleting all ultramon keys in the current user registry - issue happens randomly
note that i think this issue seems related to the fact that the profile takes some time to come up because of the pre-logon network sync or registry
any idea ?

I just had another user who had the same issue after installing RES, for him adding C:\Program Files\UltraMon\UltraMon.exe to the Userinit registry value under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon fixed the problem, see Technet for more on this registry value.

Hello
We tried this on 3 of our citrix servers, unfortunately it didn't work and even was worse
symptoms
- smart task bar went vertical on second screen, this issue was experienced on 2 of the servers
this issue is causing a lot of trouble, is there a way of contacting support via phone ?
