Open chrome with two tabs going to different websites. make sure this is on a monitor with Smart Taskbar.
Take one tab and drag it so it seperates into its own window.
Observations... - The dragged tab is in focus but it is not in focus on the smart taskbar. - Clicking on the tab2 window still does not focus it on the smart taskbar. - Only when you click on tab1 window and back to tab2 does tab2 get focus on smart taskbar.
This seems to be an issue related to Chrome as IE behaves as expected.
While doing many browser and tab sorting during research that i found i kept losing my direction.
thanks, Mike

Which version of UltraMon, Chrome and Windows are you using?
So far I haven't been able to reproduce this issue, the new Chrome window's task button was always the active task button. Testing was done with UltraMon 3.1.0 and Chrome 17.0.963.56 on 64-bit Windows 7.

Thanks for the video, I've been able to reproduce the issue when using the Classic theme/visual style instead of Aero, will look into this for the next release.
