Loving UltraMon so far, but haven't found a way to do this yet.
Steps that happen: 1) I have a computer with output to 4 TVs. 2) The TVs get turned off at night, and Windows 7 restores back to just 1 monitor until the TVs are turned back on. 3) When the TVs are turned back on, Windows sees the monitors. I apply the UltraMon monitor profile to ensure they're in the right order. 4) *** The programs I had on the 4 TVs do not go back to the respective TV. I want to keep the program open (Firefox with a specific webpage) but have a way to have it automatically return to the TV it was on. ***
I don't mind if it's a script, as I have one already for controlling my crazy setup. :)

Is the system running overnight and only the TVs are turned off, or do you shut down the whole system?

The computers stay on 24/7, but we are currently turning off the TVs off every night to save electricity cost.

In that case you could save/restore window positions with the Save/RestoreWndPos scripts. Could also be integrated into an existing script, let me know if you would want to do this.

Christian, thanks for the link. Somehow I couldn't find the script using my own search terms. :) I will give it a try!
I noticed in the thread talking about that script that this was planned to become part of the software itself. It has been several years since that time; should we assume that it will not be added anytime soon?
Thanks

I haven't looked into this yet, but it's certainly something that would be doable, though this wouldn't help with your issue as UltraMon would only save/restore window positions in response to the system getting put on/resuming from standby.
