The Windows/Maximize buttons are causing Chrome to be dreadfully slow and eventually crash Ultramon. I just disabled these buttons on all windows and it fixed the problem.

I suppose I could have disable the option just for Chrome or use the alternative method to add the buttons but I use Ultramon keyboard shortcuts to move windows around and almost never the buttons themselves. I am moving to a new laptop and had the buttons disabled on the previous one. I just didn't bother disabling them on the new one until I encountered the problem.

Versions:
Windows 7 64 bit
latest Ultramon
latest Chrome
on a Dell Latitude E6520 with the latest video drivers

I am a minimalist but Ultramon is really a must. Hope you sell tons;)

ps: with virtual environments a utility allowing to turn span displays into real multiple displays would sell well. VDI environments sell real well but bring people back to the single monitor era.

Did you get a crash or a fatal error message from UltraMon? So far I haven't seen this myself with Chrome.

Regarding span displays: I had thought about something like this for terminal sessions, but have put this on hold now that Server 2008 R2 has real multi-monitor support for terminal sessions. I'm not that familiar with VDI though, is the issue with the virtual machine itself not supporting multiple monitors, or the delivery via RDP?
