Forums -> UltraMon™ -> Taskbar won't extend

I hope someone can help me. I have a new Windows 7 machine with 2 monitors.

I've used Ultramon for years under Windows XP, but for whatever reason, under Windows 7 the taskbar will not "extend" to the other monitor.

Every setting seems to be correct:

1 - my monitors are set to "extend" and not "mirror"
2 - smart Taskbar is set to "enable"
3 - the correct functions are displayed at the top of each program window to "send" the program to the other monitor, so I know Ultramon is turned on & working

Can anyone offer advice to extend the taskbar to my other monitor? I'm out of ideas.

Thanks

Update:
After reading the forums a little more in-depth, it looks like someone else had the same problem, AND my firm uses the same RES Software as that user.

Unfortunately, the posting did not conclude with a solution. There was a suggestion to edit a Registry value, but I tried this and it did not work.

Can anyone suggest a solution to make the smart taskbar appear, on a machine running this lousy RES Software?

This is most likely related to RES being set as the shell, please run EnumShell.exe and post the contents of the generated log file here.

Thanks, it's indeed due to RES being set as the shell.

A fix is available for this, please contact me via e-mail at support@realtimesoft.com. This issue will also be fixed in the next regular release.

Apparently I'm facing the same problem as described here. I'm running Win7 64 and UltramOn v. 3.1.0, with double display 1680x1050 each with extended monitor settings.
What do you suggest to correct the issue ?

Francisko, that looks fine, what kind of issues do you have with the Smart Taskbar?
