Please save a crash dump if you get this again, to do this don't close the error message, then open Task Manager, select the Processes tab, then right-click UltraMon.exe and select Create Dump File from the menu.

Let me know once you have the crash dump, I will then send you a link to upload it to our server.

I got an error in the task bar when restarting the windows desktop service that controls the Aero settings. I have a dump file of the crash if you are interested in reviewing it.

Did you get an error message from UltraMon, or just the generic crash message?

This is the error I get when I re-started the desktop service. The more I think about it, the more I think it is probably nothing critical.

You'll get this if the UltraMon taskbar encounters an error when updating theme-related settings, most likely because the service hasn't restarted yet. I'll look into this for the next release.

If you restart the UltraMon taskbar or UltraMon once the service has been restarted everything should work fine again.
