Hello - I have an issue with my media PC setup whereby my TV MUST be on before the PC or else Windows doesn't recognise that a TV has been turned on. Apparently it has to do with the TV not sending EDID info to the PC when switched on - the PC only initiates that "handshake" when it boots (or wakes from S3 sleep).
I was wondering if the display profiles functionality of UltraMon might fix this? If I setup UltraMon with the TV settings configured in the display profile, will it force the PC to use those display settings regardless of when the TV is turned off or on, thus allowing the PC to be already configured for the TV when it is turned back on again (and not rely on the EDID handshake)?

UltraMon can't help with this, if Windows doesn't see the TV, UltraMon won't as well.
