Forums -> UltraMon™ -> Taskbar overlaps app windows on 2ndary monitor

I've set the taskbar on my secondary monitor to behave "Same as Main Taskbar" for all four options: Position (Bottom), Always on Top, Auto-Hide (No), Locked (Yes).

However, on the main monitor, application windows expand full screen only to the top of the taskbar, so there is no overlap and I can see the entire window. On the secondary monitor, application windows expand full screen so that the taskbar overlaps and hides the bottom of the app window.

Is there any way to correct this? I've tried various combinations of settings for the second taskbar, but nothing seems to work.

Does restarting UltraMon fix the problem? You can close it via right-click on the UltraMon icon in the system tray then select Close from the menu. You can then restart UltraMon via the shortcut under Start Menu > Programs.

Temporarily fixes the problem for me. The prolem seems to arise when coming out of standby.

Jay, if you want to troubleshoot this further run WndZOrder.exe when you get this the next time and send me the generated log file to support@realtimesoft.com.
