I have a problem with the DVI connector. My sgi 1600 sw flat panel doesnt work on WinXP on the DVI connector. I´tried different drivers from 12.00 - 27.42 but it doesnt work. The card has a geforce 3 chip. i got no options for selecting the Digital a the output in the display properties. the analog port works fine with an analog monitor. I tried an ASUS 7100/DVI with geforce2mx and works fine(twinview mode) as sec. display. but the asus card has only 1280x1024 max res. thats the reason why i am trying the hercules prophet (max res on dvi 1600x1200).
whats wrong ?

The Matrox G550 Dual-DVI can support two SGI 1600SW panels at their native 1600x1024 using DVI output. That might be a good way to go.

The G550 has 1280x1024 in the description of matrox ?
