I am running WinXP and recently installed a G450 DH PCI board. I am attempting to uninstall Ultramon through the Add/Remove Programs feature, but the file "UltraMon10.msi" cannot be found, which does not allow me to uninstall the program. How can I resolve this?
Thanks,
MMandel

You can download UltraMon10.msi here, then point the uninstaller to this file. This should allow you to remove UltraMon.

I am also having problems uninstalling Ultramon. The 2.0b6 install bombed on me and I thought I would try manually uninstalling through add/remove programs.
I get a message that says:
"The file 'c:\documents and settings\zak\desktop\' is not a valid installation package for the product UltraMon. Try to find the installation package 'Ultramon20.msi' in a folder from which you can install Ultramon".
I've tried pointing it to ultramon20b6.msi and ultramon10.msi - no dice.
I've tried renaming either of those install packages to ultramon20.msi and it still won't accept them as valid install packages.
Help?
Thanks, Zak

I have uploaded MsiZap.exe, a Microsoft tool that removes all traces of products installed with Windows Installer. Download here: MsiZap.zip.
Using MsiZap: - extract MsiZap.zip to your Windows directory, usually C:\Windows - open a command prompt - type: msizap T <productcode>
Replace <productcode> with one of the following product codes for UltraMon: 1.0: {563356A5-31CE-4C30-ABD2-D3CCF60A20FB} 2.0 Beta 5: {DFCA16D8-3360-46F6-9A33-1B1E1809E88C}
Note that this will only remove installation data from Windows, it will not remove the product itself. You will need to manually delete application files, shortcuts and registry entries.
Files and folders: C:\Program Files\UltraMon Windows directory: UltraMon Screen Saver 2.scr System directory: UltraMon.dll, UltraMonHook.dll, UltraMonMirror.dll System\drivers directory: UltraMonMirror.sys
Shortcuts: UltraMon 2 in Programs > Startup
Registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon

I found the 100% clean solution!!
Just reopen the installer and it gives you the option to repare or deinstall UltraMon from your system!
Hope it helps!!
