The current Windows 2000 drivers (5.72.020) for the Matrox Millenium G550 provide the ability to have different resoultions on different monitors, but only if you are NOT using the TV Out cable.
I found this out the hard way...
According to Matrox tech support, they are working on a fix which should come out in a future driver release.
