Hi,
I've been using UltraMon for some time now, at least 4 years and it's a great application. But over the last year I've noticed that UltraMon and SLI video cards do no play well together.
I have 3 22" Samsung Monitors on two GTX-580 Cards: 2 Connect Via DVI 1 Connects via HDMI
When I put my cards on Surround (all three monitors act as one), everything works fine. It's when I take them off of surround and go back to each monitor its own display.
The problem is, I can reload my "Profile" so the monitors assign back to their normal location, but the Desktop Icons, no matter how many times I save them, never return back to their normal position. I save the desktop icons settings each time before I go into Surround mode, but when I come out of it, the icons do not return.
NVIDA Software: Version 7.1.720.0 Ultramon Software: Version 3.2.2 Video Cards: 2x GTX-580 Monitors: 3x Samsung SyncMaster SA300
Hoping this can be fixed as it's quite annoying to constantly be adding my desktop icons back.
Thanks TWG

Does UltraMon get shut down when you change back to extended desktop mode? That would cause UltraMon to save icon positions, overwriting the previously saved positions.
To prevent this, go to UltraMon Options > General and uncheck 'preserve position of desktop icons'. You can still save/restore icon positions manually via UltraMon menu > Desktop Icons.

Hi Christian,
You are correct, UltraMon does crash when this happens. Thanks for the tip, I'll make the settings update when I get home from work this evening.
Cheers Tim
