Anybody running FS2002 with multi-monitors? Mine is choppy with three monitors, even with the settings turned down low.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Whoops, didn't mean to post the same issue on two threads. Just learning my way around the forum.

By the way, you will really see a decrease in fps if you put another external view on the other screen. (spot plane or tower mode) However for undocking instrument panels like what you saw on my pic, there isn't really an effect on performance. Heck I fly from the cockpit most of the time.. :)

With a good dual head card like a GeForce 4 Ti or maybe an ATI 8500, you can get very smooth 3D graphics on dual screens, even with large 3D windows running across both of them.

Maybe add a PCI card for instruments on the third display.

I'm using a Geforce 4 TI 4200..

You have to use Windows 2000 for it to be smooth, not 98/ME or XP. Sounds weird I know, but there's a fundamental difference in the way W2000 treats multihead video cards, and unlike the other OSs, both monitors will be accelerated.
