Hi,

I built a machine for Church projection use. I had a Radeon 7500 All in Wonder so I put that in it and used an old ATI Mach 64 (1Mb !) card to get some dual monitor support working.

I wanted the All In Wonder for good video playback and the TV Tuner as well, and just use any PCI card for the second display BUT I now think I might have made a mistake !

Would I have been better with a true dual head card ( Radeon 7500 or Matrox 550 - the projector has a digital connection as well ) ? How fast are such cards ?

If I put any old PCI card in for the second monitor won't it just slow everything down ?

Any advice on a PCI video card in the UK, the only one I can find is a SIS 8Mb card.

Any help will be very much appreciated by an overworked minister who should be planning Easter services !

Doesn't matter as far as performance is concerned, but if you want to use mirroring (same image on the monitor and projector), a dualhead card is the better choice due to built-in support for mirroring.
