I have an Epox P4BDA2+ running windows xp, a Nvidia GF2MX for my primary and a Matrox Millenim 2 for my secondary monitor. My second monitor goes to sleep (powers off the tube completely (flashing orange LED) fine) My primary one though only balnks the screen (tube still powered and a constant LED)
If I swap the monitors over the sitaustion is reversed, ie primary now powers off properly while the secondary (now attached to my GF2) doesn't power off, it just blanks the screen.
This leads me to believe it is not the monitors, and I have had these cards and screens running fine in W2k in my last system.
Any ideas?
