Normally when running win98se and explorer.exe shell crashes, it immediately reloads (although without restoring the system tray icons, unfortunately).
However, when ultramon 2b6 is loaded, explorer.exe does not reload.
Can anyone duplicate this error? To crash explorer.exe intentionally, just ctrl-alt-del, end task on explorer.exe, don't restart windows (hit cancel), wait a few seconds, then hit ok to close explorer.exe. It SHOULD automatically restart itself.

Just to clarify, you cannot run explorer.exe after this happens. It will come up in the task list, but doesn't show on the screen (icons and taskbar do not come back).
I think somehow ultramon is blocking explorer.exe from starting?

It seems that this only occurs if I'm using the Smart Taskbar...

Thanks for the bug report. I have been able to reproduce this problem on Windows 98. I'll try to fix this for Beta 7.
