Hi
I'm lookng to buy a new notebook. To liase with my employers anti virus software I would prefer to use W2K than XP.
Does anyone know if either the ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 (Specifically an IBM's A30p) or the Geforce 4 to go (Dell 8200 series) support true dual display under W2K (I fancy a bit of Quake on long flights).
Because both these machines have SXGA resolutions and my external screen is XGA I need to be able to set independent resolutions.

I have a Dell Latitude C810, and I'm using it in the docking station. I use the laptop screen, and a Dell 992 trinitron in dual-monitor mode. It works great!!! I've never tried it without the docking station though. It has the GeForce 2 Go Video card.
