After upgrading my nVidia card (primary AGP read Upgraded trouble: nVIDIA to nVIDIA) I found that multimonitor support didn't work.
Anyways.
I used to use my secondary monitor as a tool screen for Photoshop and similar programs with tool windows. Now I find that several of these tools are "preset" to open in a (now) non-existent screen area.
Please help me so I don't have to reinstall all this shiat.

Yes, i have this same problem. Specifically, photoshop opens fine in the main window, but when I hit "create new" that "new" pop-up window opens in my non-existent 2nd monitor.
the other tricks mentioned here do not help. grrr..
