Forums -> Multiple monitors -> Making the DVI output the primary on a GF4

I have a GF4 with one standard analog and one DVI-I connector, with an analog monitor hooked up to the analog output, and a digital lcd monitor on the dvi output. Now during bootup, the system displays everything on the analog monitor, up to the WinXP logon screen, which is the first thing that gets displayed on the lcd (and this is only, because I made it the primary monitor in xp). Now is there any way to change the GF4 (in my case a Creative Labs Ti4400) to the DVI output as primary, both for system boot, and also within XP, where the analog output is adapter 1, and the DVI is adapter 2.

In XP, at least, you can make adapter 2 primary, but I would prefer the DVI as adapter 1, and DVI output also working during system boot.

any ideas on that?
