Forums -> UltraMon™ -> Screen partially painted - Missing Some Background

Hi all,

Trying Ultramon and running into an issue. I have a dual-monitor system. Normally I would just use a splitter, but the screens have 2 different resolutions and I think Ultramon is a good solution for my problem. It's close, but I'm running into some refresh problems on monitor 2 trying to mirror an application.

Monitor 1 (Primary) - 1920x1080 (Touchscreen)
Monitor 2 (Secondary) - 1366x768 (Display only)

Application - Custom TCL-based program, using the "wish" window shell to run. Windows 7 Professional.

Goal - Monitor 1 is primary display, monitor 2 displays output of the main program only.

Problem - Monitor 2 leaves large chunks of the display blank, filling periodically.

Monitor 2 Sample:

I have the screen refresh rate at 25/second, and tried disabled video overlays and 3d acceleration.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Does it work fine if you mirror the whole monitor instead of only this specific application?

Also let me know which theme you're using (Aero, Basic or Classic).

Hi Christian, thanks for the quick response.

Full-screen seems to work just fine (and may be enough for go-live).

I'll have my engineer do additional testing on the theme, I'm sure it's Aero right now, but the graphics on this app are very crude. Aero is overkill for what we're doing.
