Hi
I'm looking for recommendations for a double headed card that will drive 2 displays at 1600*1200 85Hz refresh rate. My Matrox G450 maxes out at 75Hz at this resolution and in low light I can just see the screens flicker. 85Hz would be more comfortable.
3D acceleration is not really important, but image quality is. I'd prefer a double headed card as it seems easier to get the colour balance on the 2 screens to match. But, if it would be silly money to get a double header I'm happy to use a PCI card and keep on using the Matrox for my primary display (it will do 1600*1200@85Hz for one screen). Can I still buy a Matrox G450 PCI card or any other recommendations greatfully received.

HAve you checked out the G550 DualHead? I don't know if it go any higher than the G450, but it's worth checking out.
