Hello all,
I use a 3D Prophet III on AGP slot and a brand new 3D Prophet 4000 XT PCI. My problem is that I must deactivate the "PCI monitor" before shutting down my computer and reactivate it after start up. If I forget to do so before shut down, at the next startup, Windows XP Pro displays a message stating that the selected drivers as not been written for this Windows version I then have no other choice than to uninstall the PCI card and reinstall it if I want to have access to both monitors again.
Of course, the drivers I use are the latest available (15.20XP). If anyone has an idea...

I have the same setup. I dual boot XP Home and 98se. Herc4500/agp and 4000xt 64mb pci card. I am using the same drivers as you are (15.xxx for XP and 14.xxx for 98). Perhaps you, need to update your driver for your monitor hooked up to your pci card.
