Windows 98/Me support in Beta 7 has been enabled again.
The following Windows 98/Me issues have been fixed:
- Fatal Exception errors
- FreeCell displays hourglass cursor, doesn't accept mouse input
- ACDSee, ICQ fail to start if Smart Taskbar running
- ACDSee crashes when adding custom menu commands
- Explorer crashes after shell restart
- lock mouse to primary monitor hotkey doesn't work
- shell hangs during startup when desktop icon positioning is enabled
Before installing the updated version, you need to uninstall any previous version of UltraMon and reboot. Download UltraMon
This update only resolves Windows 98/Me issues; if you are using Windows 2000 or XP, there is no need to install this update.
