I have an ABIT KT7 board...900 MHz T Bird. 256 PC 133 RAM and a GeForce3 Ti 200 AGP card. I bought a Geforce4 MX420 PCI card and when i put it in, the computer won't even boot. The hard drive light stays on and the monitors won't do anything. I have been in the BIOS and told it to look in the PCI card slots first for a VGA card. It still won't work. Has anyone else had this problem? let me know PLEASE!! joltman@ilstu.edu

I even took out all of my cards to make sure that it wasn't an IRQ conflict. I put int the Visiontek XTasy GF4MX420 PCI w/svid out and it still wouldn't boot. I cleared my CMOS and attempted to boot with no cards but the PCI vid card, no boot. I am using WIN XP (Like that helps with the NO BOOT problem). I put all my cards back in without PCI vid and it boots fine. BIOS obviously has Init Display First set to PCI card. There is no other feature that lets me choose to have both AGP and PCI together. ABIT KT7 board, latest BIOS. I really have no ideas.
