I'm using UltraMon 3.1.0 on Win7x64. I have the UltraMon taskbar icon set to enable my external monitor when double clicked, but on most occasions after doing so my desktop monitor is covered with several empty boxes which pop up all over it, some can be closed but others persist until a log off or restart. The most common one appears just above the start logo and says something like "MSCTFIME UI" on it. Also the wallpaper on my 2nd monitor constantly keeps changing and has be be reset. Is there any way I can stop these things from happening?
Thanks.

Please try if upgrading to 3.2.2 fixes the issues, if it doesn't let me know.

3.2.2 is better but I'm still getting the odd one or two, ipoint.exe is the most common and still getting the occasional one above the start button.
Wallpaper has been OK so far.
Thanks

UltraMon restores window positions when you enable secondary monitors, maybe that causes the issue, though I haven't seen this myself so far.

One thing you could do is use a display profile instead, this will only change display settings. You can create display profiles via UltraMon menu > Display Profiles.
