I work from my laptop with a screenresolution of 1366x768. I mostly play games and browse the net. A long time ago I've got myself a 2nd monitor with a resolution of 1920x1080, mainly for watching movies and series but it has its uses besides that. I have my 2nd monitor positioned above my laptop and stretched my desktop to it. In winxp i could use a some software to have different wallpapers on both screens but when I upgraded to windows 7 Ultimate it seemed impossible to get the OS the understand my setup. I have tried various desktop/monitor managers, both free and payed but non of them was able to cope with 2 different resolution monitors in a top to bottom setup.... And then there was Ultramon.. It bypasses Windows 7's incomprehensible way it sees multiple monitors and lets me, FINALLY, set a different wallpaper for each of my monitors. Way To Go UltraMon!
(sorry for this lenghty post, i just had to get it out there!)
