I'm running in to a new issue with the smarttaskbars. I have 3 monitors (2 running on a GF4 dual head and 1 on a GF2mx). I'm currently running the 2 from the GF4 as 1 display, and no matter what I try, Ultramon gives me 2 additional taskbars. I tried to get Ultramon to ignore that monitor, but it refuses to. Any ideas?

There are still issues with the Smart Taskbar not saving the settings. To change the settings manually, use regedit.exe and make sure that the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\Smart Taskbar only has a single subkey.
Let me know if this doesn't work for some reason, I can send you a .reg file that creates a configuration with a single UltraMon taskbar.
If you use stretched mode with the GF4, you won't be able to ignore one of the GF4 monitors, as far as UltraMon is concerned the two GF4 monitors are a single display.

That did the trick.

I ran into this same problem, only it was a bit more severe: It would dump 2 taskbars ontop of my start bar, rmoving all taskbar entries, then added a taskbar for each additional monitor in other displays. It also caused a problem when running the winamp crazy toolbar, which is like a start bar for winamp on the top of your screen, allowing you to control winamp from main monitor while winamp resides somewhere else, well it docks at the top of the screen, but when I was having the aforementioned problem, Ultramon made the toolbar think it was floating, which it isn't even supposed to do, and I couldne't access the top of any maximized window, but after using this fix, which I hope is in consideration for the next version, everything was fine and dandy.
P.S. This bug can also bog down processor

I see a problem forming, I fixed the previous problem, then I downloaded the updated beta 7 and now if I check the registry after every bootup I notice that it keeps dropping another key into the registry, there doesn't seem to be a way to fix this

Do you have the same problem if you remove all subkeys except one? In this case, UltraMon should use the configuration as stored in the registry.
The Smart Taskbar issues should be fixed in the next release, it's a top priority for RC1.

Please mail me your Smart Taskbar settings. To do this, open regedit.exe, select the registry key 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\Smart Taskbar', and choose File\Export from the menu. RegEdit will store the settings in a .reg file.

I was having this same problem where I have three monitors, one is ignored, and when I turn on smart taskbars it drops two bars instead of one into the secondary monitor. Glad to see you will be addressing that for the future version.
